Hamburg (dpa/gms) - Men and women have different causes for the love to their dogs. Female owners appreciate above all the protective instinct of the pet.
Male owners attach great importance to the affection of the dog, report the organizers of the domestic animal fair «Hanse Tier» in Hamburg under reference to a representative poll by order of a string of supermarkets.
The adhesion of the pet is important for 73 percent of men, the babble with the pet in turn is seen by men less important (22 percent) as by women (30 percent). The most important item is for both: 94 percent of men and 87 percent of women like it most that the dog is always happy when they come home. More than 3100 owners of dogs were polled.
